Draft for review · 26 October 2026. Pending business and legal approval. No effective date has been set.
Who is responsible
Adriel Technical Solutions Limited operates orificecalculator.com and determines how personal information is used to provide the service. This is a draft privacy notice for review and approval, not an approved publication. Contact info@orificecalculator.com about privacy, access or deletion requests. The registered address, responsible privacy contact and mailbox operation must be confirmed before launch.
Information used by the service
Account information includes name, email, verification status, sign-in provider and, where provided by that provider, a profile image. Passwords are hashed. Authenticator setup information and recovery codes are protected by the authentication service. Sessions may include device, IP address and access-time information. Saved project data may include service, tag, project name, notes, input conditions, results and report records. Workspace records include membership and invitations.
Payments and correspondence
The application stores payment references, amounts, currency, billing periods, subscription status and provider identifiers needed to verify purchases and manage access. Payment details are entered at Paystack checkout; the application does not collect full card numbers or card security codes. Support correspondence contains the information you choose to send. Avoid including sensitive personal data in engineering notes or support messages.
Purposes and lawful bases
Account administration, requested calculations, saved records, team sharing and paid access support performance of the service agreement. Fraud prevention, access security, audit records and resolving service faults support legitimate interests, subject to users’ rights. Relevant legal obligations may require some financial or security records. Where optional processing relies on consent, that consent can be withdrawn; withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
Who can receive information
Authorised workspace members can see calculations saved to their workspace. Authorised administrators may access records for support, security and account administration. Service providers include hosting and database services, Paystack for payments, Google where Google sign-in is chosen, and Resend where transactional email is configured. Information may also be disclosed when legally required. Provider contracts, hosting locations and any international-transfer safeguards must be documented before the final policy is approved.
Cookies and browser storage
Authentication uses cookies to maintain sessions and protect sign-in. Resource bookmarks use local browser storage; navigation history uses session storage. Browser controls can clear this information, but removing authentication cookies signs you out. Optional analytics or marketing technologies must be assessed and disclosed before they are introduced; this notice does not authorise undisclosed tracking.
Contact messages
When you use the contact form, we send your name, email address, optional company, message type and message through Resend to the relevant Adriel mailbox so we can respond. Your email address is used as the reply address. The application does not store the message body in its database. Short-lived, hashed request identifiers and counters help prevent spam.
Retention and deletion
Saved work remains available after a subscription expires, so cancellation does not automatically delete account data. Account deletion and removal of personal data can be requested through the privacy contact. Some billing, audit or security information may need to be retained for legal obligations or dispute resolution, with access restricted to those purposes. Exact retention periods, backup-expiry times and deletion handling must be agreed and implemented before this draft is published as final.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, portability or restriction of your personal information, and object to relevant processing. You may withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. We may need proportionate identity checks to protect your information. You may also raise a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Account and subscription checks are automated; contact support if you believe an access decision is incorrect.
Security and changes
The service uses authentication, restricted account roles and server-side access checks. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected account compromise promptly without sending passwords or setup keys. The approved policy must state its effective date; material changes to purposes, providers or user choices must be communicated appropriately.
